Government and health system policies can sometimes hurt people with long-term health issues.
This matters all the time but matters even more during times that transplant recipients and families have extra worries about their health. This includes times like COVID-19, flu, or measles outbreaks.
We are studying how politicians and their language shape pandemic policy decisions. This will help us understand how these policies arise and their impact.
We are also studying how communications from transplant programs meet the needs of transplant recipients from different walks of life.
Expérience requise
We are looking for individuals who have received a solid organ or stem cell transplant or are the family member/caregiver for someone who has had a transplant and who are willing to discuss the pandemic policies that had the greatest impact on them and their family, and their experiences with their transplant center.
