Currently, there is limited information about the challenges both researchers and patient partners face in engaging together in clinical trials, and the facilitators that support this process. The purpose of this study is to explore the barriers, facilitators, and needs of both researchers and patients in patient engagement for clinical trials.
Experience required
The patient partners with lived experience and involvement in CLINICAL TRIALS.
Potential roles for PFD Partners
The participants will be asked to participate in one interview. During the interview, they will meet with a member of the research team. The interview will last about 30 to 45 minutes in length and will take place virtually over the Microsoft Teams platform or in person at a convenient time and location, depending on your preferences. In this interview, they will be asked about their experiences as a patient partner in clinical trials, including the barriers and facilitators encountered during this process.
Reimbursement
The participants will receive an honorarium of $50 CAD.
