Join a Patient Engagement Discussion Group: Improving AI Tools for Liver Transplant Waitlist Patients
We invite liver transplant recipients to take part in a collaborative discussion group aimed at enhancing an innovative tool designed to support the liver transplant waitlist. This tool uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to calculate a dynamic MELD sodium score and assess health risks, with the goal of empowering patients and improving shared decision-making.
Purpose of the Discussion Group:
This is a patient engagement activity where your experiences, ideas, and feedback will help shape an AI tool to align with the needs and preferences of liver transplant recipients. Together, we’ll explore how to make the tool more accessible, meaningful, and user-friendly for people like you.
Experience required
Who Should Join? Adults with experience on the adult liver transplant waitlist (both liver transplant recipients and those currently on a liver transplant waitlist) who are interested in sharing their perspectives to improve tools that support patient care.
Potential roles for PFD Partners
What to Expect:
- A brief presentation and demonstration of the tool.
- A guided, open discussion where you can share your thoughts on the tool's features, usability, and potential impact on your care.
- Opportunities to suggest improvements or additional features that would make the tool more helpful in your health journey.
Reimbursement
$50
