Dr. Shaifali Sandal and her team at McGill University are currently recruiting participants for a study called: “Optimizing Care for Kidney Transplant Recipients Who Experience Graft Loss: A Forgotten Cohort.”
The purpose of this study is to understand more about the experiences of kidney transplant patients who experience the loss of their kidney transplant. The team also wants to understand the experiences of family members and close friends who have helped to support their loved ones during this difficult time. The broader goal of this study is to understand how patient education, preparedness and support could be improved.
Experience required
- You have or are currently experiencing the loss of a kidney transplant
- You have supported a loved one who experienced the loss of a kidney transplant.
